CAPE CHARLES BEACH TRIP | 2019

Hi there!

We are home from the beach but we sure do miss it! We had such a wonderful time in Cape Charles! We stayed in an Airbnb just minutes from downtown Cape Charles and the Cape Charles local beach. It was the perfect destination! We also had family that stayed in Kiptopeke State Park so we drove to visit them during our stay. The park was about 15 minutes away from Cape Charles.

Milan loved the beach! It was his first time! He ate his first sand, slept on the beach and loved the water! It was so adorable seeing him splash in the water and crawl around on the sand!

We arrived in Cape Charles on Friday, the 14th around 11 AM. We checked in, unpacked and then went to the beach. Then we went over to visit my parents in their RV at Kiptopeke State Park. We had dinner with them and then headed back to our Airbnb.

Saturday morning we made breakfast, went to the beach and then had dinner with my parents again. We had smores later that night (which were delicious)!

On Sunday we made breakfast and headed to the beach. We met up with my entire family at the beach. We had a quick lunch then went out to dinner at the Oyster Farm in Cape Charles with some family. We played some cornhole, walked around the beautiful marina and then finished the night with some Brown Dog ice cream, which is rated Top 10 in the US, and a walk on the boardwalk! It was such a good night!

We packed up to leave Sunday night and left early Monday morning to head back home! It was such a great trip and we can't wait to go back next year! I had packed enough food and clothes for Milan which I was so worried about! I even overpacked lol.

Thanks for reading!

Milan LOVES bath time so I hope he likes the ocean water! It will be our first trip together as a family of 3! Stay tuned for pictures from our trip!

This year I am packing light because I have my son's luggage with me as well! I have to make sure I pack enough clothes, diapers and food for him! I am a little nervous about packing for him because I don't want to forget anything.
